Thursday, 13 December 2007 | People We Like

The Morning News is graciously featuring two portraits of mine in a new(ish) feature called "People We Like." The first picture is of my grandparents, who are 94 and 91, respectively, and happily living in their home of 40 years on the Jersey shore.

The second is of my friend Stuart, whom I met in a youth hostel in London in 1997. We loosely kept in touch over email, ended up moving to New York the very same day in 2002, and after that became good friends. Stuart now lives in Israel.

People We Like. I've got a new photo in The Morning News: the co-owners of Frank White, an unusual coffee shop in my neighborhood.

Charles Atlas will make a man of you! "Against Atlas' better judgment, I declined performing all of my exercises in the nude." (accompanying shirtless photo of the author taken by me.)

Cat on a Leash. I am totally buying a leash for Coleman asap.

The Brooklynites. Great photos of a wide range of people from my favorite borough. (Thanks to Kurt [a talented photographer himself] for passing this on.)

Killer Boob. My childhood (and current!) friend Sarah talks about her experience with breast cancer on her well written and charming blog. She's an American living in Belgium and happens to be one of the best people I know.
