En

While
trying to figure out just what Craig Hilton's upcoming event was
about, he mentioned that a look at the pictures on his web site
might clear things up. But we were still left wondering what in
the hell was going on after taking a long look at them. The pictures
include people dressed in all sorts of interesting attire, burning
baby dolls laying on a barbeque grill, huge phallic appendages and
all sorts of other craziness. Everyone looked as though they were
having a blast. Hilton calls it the Centre for Transgressive Behaviors,
an avant-garde theatre experiment that has grown into something
more. The performances feature all amateurs to insure an exciting
and different show every time. Check it out this weekend at Trace
Gallery: The performance on Friday night will surely knock you off
your feet and on Saturday, be warned that you are not walking into
a performance, but rather an open house/banquet where you can sit
and eat amongst what was created the night before. Craziness at
its best, Friday, May 19, 11 p.m. ($6.50 advanced ticket sales available
at Schoolkids Records); Saturday, May 20, 7:30 p.m. (donations accepted),
at Trace Gallery, 222 S Blount St., Raleigh. 834-8749 or 851-8234.
