OK,
if you missed these guys back in May (shame on you if you did),
now is your last chance to see the performers of The Centre for
Transgressive Behaviors. Known for outlandish performances that
include everything from bodily fluids (like the Puking Giant Made
of Gold) to virgin sacrifices, anything goes at their shows. This
incarnation, which includes a group of amateurs and artwork by Bob
Schatte and Krysta Einspanier, might get the group closer to their
goal of eliminating the gap between the audience and the performer
and should push the envelope of imagination (and possibly even good
taste). This is their last official show, and with the theme being
"Terresmoto," which means earthquake in Spanish, there's no telling
what is going to happen. Location: Kings, 424 S. McDowell St., Raleigh
Time: 10 p.m. Cost: $10 (at the door)/$8 (advance) Phone: 831-1005

Spectator in the October 18-24, 2000 issue.)
